British Airways Launch New First Class flights from London Gatwick to the Caribbean

CRAWLEY, England, August 7, 2012-

  British Airways has announced the introduction of its award-winning, new First class
service on four of its popular Caribbean routes from Gatwick this summer.

  Customers flying on holidays to Barbados

Lucia and Port of Spain in Trinidad will be able to experience the new British Airways
premium cabin.

  The Gatwick-based Boeing 777-200 aircraft with the new First cabin offers a 60 per
cent wider seat, private wardrobes, personal electronic blinds and balanced privacy that
creates an intimate experience.

  British Airways also recently introduced food and drink enhancements in its World
Traveller Plus premium economy cabin on all long haul flights from Gatwick.

  Customers are now offered a welcome drink before take-off and the choice of two
entrees from the Club World menu.

  The dedicated World Traveller Plus cabin offers more privacy with larger seats,
adjustable headrests, lumbar support and leg rests.

steps forward for our premium customers at Gatwick. The introduction of the new First
cabin means our customers can enjoy the very best travel experience British Airways has to

  “Our World Traveller Plus customers are also benefiting from an upgraded food and
